You just gotta love the holiday season.  The lights, the ornaments, rooms decorated from floor to ceiling. As exhausting as they may be, these next few months inspire and remind us of all the wonderful things this world has to offer. Although it’s just now October, you might be surprised at how soon people begin decorating their homes. With all the celebrations and festivities coming up, it’s important that we teach our pets to keep their distance from any exposed wires lying around due to all the lights we put up.

When planning out your holiday decorations, be aware of exposed wiring and if possible keep them as tucked away as you can. Once you are done decorating,  survey the area and look for any areas that might tempt your cat into getting into a little mischief.  If you just can’t seem to hide them or cover them with a rug or cloth, than you may just want to try a bottle of Bitter Apple.

Bitter Apple Spray is an easy to use spray that works with most common household pets and is made from a combination of water, isopropanol, and bitter extractives. Essentially Bitter Apple can be sprayed on anything you don’t want your pets to touch and tastes so bad it actually repels and discourages them from coming into contact with the item again.
