Sirius Launches New Pet Programming

Isn’t it amazing thinking about all the new products that are hitting the market these days? I mean just this week I brought the details on Toyota’s new Venza. In case you missed it the Venza is more than a car, but in fact is specifically designed to meet the needs of pet owners who like to take their furry pals on long car rides around the city. Today I’ve got another new item that is bound to be making waves and setting trends over the next few years. If you’ve own satellite radio or have thought about getting, this just may be the extra incentive you’ve been waiting for.  Sirius Radio in conjunction with their Martha Stewart channel announced today a new program strictly aimed at pet owners. Sponsored by Purina One and titled the Petcentric Café, the program is a one hour live call in show hosted by famed pet expert Warren Eckstien. According to reports the show is geared toward helping “dog and cat owners get into the minds of their pets and provides advice on how to relate to each other and live in perfect harmony.”

With over 30 years of experience behind him, Eckstien says he will cover a variety of topics and is approaching the show what he calls a “hugs and kisses” mentality. “On Petcentric Cafe we'll address the topics that matter most to you and your dogs and cats. It's a place where pet owners can come together to talk, listen and share stories about everything from relationships to health concerns," said Eckstein. "I hope our discussions will help everyone get into the habit of thinking like their pets and teach them to communicate more effectively to strengthen their relationships."
