My dog, Kau, is a 1-year old Akita. He LOVES playing with other dogs, it's his favorite thing. Kau is good with all people and all other dogs. The problem I'm having is that when I take him to the dog park, sometimes another dog will want to be dominent and start a fight with him. He will not start a fight, but will defend himself. Does anyone know how to stop that? I hear horror stories about agressive Akitas all the time and Kau is not agressive at all. I fear that he will become agressive if he keeps having to defend himself. Obviously, not going to the dog park would stop that behavior, but he LOVES playing with other dogs. I am hoping that we'll still be able to go to the park, but I will stop if I have to. Any suggestions?? Thanks!! Jan
